I just got back from the n.w. sportsman show, there was a rod blank in a yellowish orangish brownish matte fiberglass like rod, not the lamiglass or the eagle claw style or fenglass. real light!! please help guys its driving me crazy, the man told me the name but i cant remember, someone says the name i will know it thanks dan

Sabre, Pflueger and Fenwick all made blanks in similar colors. Seeker may have some that color as well.

thanks guys this sounds crazy it had a look like rubberized cork it had flecks in it and was matte finish

was this a new blank or something from years gone by? i know lamiglas has a new Spring Creek fiberglass rod/blank which sounded similar judging from their web site's photo. not sure if it's matte though and the photo isn't tight enough to show whether it has flecks in it. this Spring Creek is new and different from the familiar "lamiglas honey-colored fiberglass blank" many speak of.
