I just finished a Signature V with the matte clear finish. What is the best method for writing on the blank and puting finish over it. I have flex coat lite. Thanks

I just looked up the same topic with the same heading. Just do a search. Go back 90 days. Lots and lots of info and suggestions. Did my rod today and it looks great. Good luck.

Probably a gel pen on a very lightly and finely scuffed surface, covered with a clear spray fixative such as Krylon artist fixative, then covered with Flex Coat.

I just signed a rod and used a writing nib, you know the old quill type fountain pen tip. You can get them in a good art store.
I use a metalic Pilot pen and create a pool of color that I dip the pen tip in, then write free hand on the rod. It dries in a few minutes and can be coated in about a half hour. I like the free hand writing, I think it makes it more personal.
