To Tim / static test

Tim,
In the other post about static test of guide, you have your guides on top if they are touching , correct ?
Are you setting butt guide at 0, straght up, next guide at 90, and the rest on the bottom ?
This is the setup in the other post, a bait cast rod to try and get a long cast with a light lure / bait.

Do your styatic test with all the guides on top (not the 90 degee guide, when you have everything right

Then move the guides you want under to where you want them. then set the Bumper guide. Its only jor is to keep the line from rubbing the Blank. Use the smallest guide you can. its just to stop rubbing

David, I have no clue what you're talking about. My last post referred to the difference in butt guide placement for line slap between large loops and small loops.
