any one that fancys a good laugh should take a look at the sponsers prices for this book (which I hasten to add would be new)
then take a look at
[www.amazon.com]
I personally like the bottom one $457 for a $23.99 book where do they get their prices from

They also sell RodMaker subscriptions for about $50 and apparently sell quite a few. Remember, the big box stores appeal to the consumer through the illusion of greater selection and lower prices. Thus, many people look no farther and assume they're getting the best possible deal.

It should be noted that CRTA is no longer being printed and soon even the sponcors will have a hard time
getting it.

The book Custom rod Thread Art is out of print. I have called and talked to most sponsors and they do not have them in stock. Most web sites still list the book but they need to be updated to show the do not have them. I finally found a used copy online at Abe Books. I had to pay $40 to get one. The last two that I have seen on @#$%& sold for well over $40.
