Has anyone here used " J B WELD " for an adhesive for reel seats. I know it is used for ferrules with bamboo makers, was wondering if it is used with graphite and the reel seats as well?
Thanks Re: REEL SEAT ATTACHMENT

Think Rod Bond is the most popular Re: REEL SEAT ATTACHMENT

JB weld is a very thick paste and is not well suited for use on reel seats. You can use it and it'll work, but it's a pain to be used for this when there are other prducts much better suited for mounting reel seats. RodBond would be one of those.

JB Weld might not flex as much as you'd like it to. Might get brittle. Josh Markvan www.markvanheirloom.com Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
