shikari blanks question

I have never used, built a rod for, or fished for walleye. I was looking at the Shikari site. They list bass blanks and walleye blanks as diferent catagories. what makes a walleye blank diferent? Re: shikari blanks question

They're usually a tad softer in the tip than those designed for bass fishing.

Their Walleye series is in a special color out of SHIII graphite. And the tapers are a bit less aggressive.
For sensitive applications like jigging I prefer the SHX. Better to have and not need than to need and not have. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
