I don't know what the action is, but you could email the company and surely they would tell you. I do know they made an excellent product. I assume they still do.

Marcel - I'm looking at the Mud-Hole 2006 Catalog (pages 31-35) and NOWHERE can I find the GUSA Rod Blank Model # "906DH". ... Am I overlooking it? Is that the correct Model #? ...
The M-H-'06 Catalog does list all the specifications for the GUSA rod blanks, including their ACTION-TAPER rating, but the format of your Model # does not match their Model #'s coding format. ... They do have a "DHX" designation, which means "Double-Helix" of graphite fibers, but the DHX designation refers to the MATERIAL of the blank's construction, (and to most of their offerings), and not to a particular Design Series. Are you talking about the 9ft 6 wt fly blanks. The Angler's Workshop Saltstalker blanks I believe are those blanks. The 9 1/2 ft 6 wt I built was a med fast actioned and a fast recovery blank. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
