All Star Austin guide spacing, etc.

Hey all-- I've got a couple of questions. First off, I'm working on a 9-ft, 4-wt, 4-piece All-Star Austin, and I need the guide spacing. I just dropped an email to Andy Dear, but since it's the holiday season and folks are away, I figured I'd put out a board-wide call for them.
Secondly, I have a more general question on guide spacing. This is only my fourth rod, so I'm still a newbie. When you're measuring out your guides, do you measure from the very tippy top of the tip top (i.e., the circle), or do you start measuring lower than that? I've been curious about this since I made my first rod.

Thanks,

Dave

Check the library for the static guides spacing article, now you don't need to measure nothing, or find a spacing chart.
