Sulky to Maderia?

Hello all. I have done a search for this info but come up empty handed. I am looking for some sort of conversion chart for the color numbers for Sulky to Maderia or vise versa. I thought I saw someone post it here about a year or so ago but I cant find it.

Thanks for your help.

Brent; What you are looking for is a Pantone chart. They are expensive as I recall and since you can't trust colors that you would see on your computer screen you would have to have the chart. If it was me I would just go look at the thread from one company or the other and choose the colors I wanted for whatever I wanted to do. One big problem is that Madeira doesn't name their colors. They just use numbers.

Do a google seach on web.
Click onto "Sulky International"
They have on their web site a chart to cross reference colors and the numbers of those colors with other brands.
By having the numbers its will keep you on track of the colors are off a little bit on the computor screen

The numbers for Madeira Polyneon are different from those of their classic (Rayon) so it looks to me as though the Sulky cross reference won't work here.

Brent: Both Sulky and Madeira have color cards that they will sell to you. I'm sure you can find out the information on their websites. John
