If you are taking photos primarily for uploading to the photo page, take low resolution jpeg photos. Set your camera to the "low" quality setting (on digitial cameras, "quality" refers to "size" rather than actual quality).

Ideally, you want a 72 dpi jpeg at roughly 600 to 800 pixels square. Larger will still work, but it will take a lot longer to load and will not result in any better quality or larger size.

After you register, respond to the validation email you'll be sent and then you can start uploading photos. Make sure to select a category in which to put your photos before uploading them.

That email is sent automatically. The system will not fail in that regard.

regardless of weather it was sent automatically, it never made to my box and I dont have the spam blocker enabled. Do you think the fact that I'm using Mozilla Thunderbird for my e-mail would have any effect?

I really don't know - all I can do is delete your current registration and you can start over and see what happens. The email is sent automatically - that's about all I can do on my end. I can't see your email program not accepting it unless there is some sort of junk/spam mail filter in place. If there isn't, then it's a mystery to me where it could be going.

One idea though - it might be possible that hit a wrong key when you typed your email address in and the validation email was sent elsehwere.

Hi Tom. I'm sorry to bother you again but I reregestered this morning, waited all day, and the e-mail still didn't arrive. Wouldn't there be a record if the e-mail came back as undeliverable? I checked my e-mail 4 times to make sure it was correct. Thanks Again, Chris

No, there is no method for receiving emails, only for sending them. I do see where it was sent.
