There is a feature on the Photo Board that allows a poster to select Edit A Photo. A screen comes up that has a Delete This Photo choice at the bottom of the screen. If a lot of board users delete a lot of old pictures would it be helpful to the operation of the site. Would that action create too much additional work for the Admin. Cleaning up size of the Photo Database could be our little Christmas present. I am quite sure that a lot of us would take the time to clean up our house and downsize if you requested.

It looks like to me that action by the board Admin is required after you select the Delete option. I am hoping that it is not too much trouble for Admin to make these deletions. Maybe they could change the program to allow deletion by the poster with out any furthur action. I am still sending potos with too many bytes - I have not figured out how to really cut down on the file size when using the digital camera. I plan on having some one in Charlotte explain that to me.

It wouldn't amount to a hill of beans in the overall scheme of things. It's traffic that needs to be taken care of. That photo site only contains a half gig of photos, but it has been access almost 2 million times in the past few months. This forum gets 10 times the number of those hits. Same with all the other features. The equipment and bandwidth I have just isn't enough to handle the load. Hopefully something will turn up soon and I can buy the equipment needed to get what we need for a good while to come.
