Shikari blanks

I am about to build 2 Shikari SHII S703/2 rods can anyone out there suggest guide spacings. They are going to be used as 10wt fly rods

This question comes up over and over and over. The best person to recommend guide spacing for those blanks is.... you. You have them right there in front of you and you know what your handle configuration and reel size is going to be. No one can possibly make a better recommendation than you can - they don't have the specifics in front of them as you do. Take the time to read the articles in the online library on guide set up and placement. This way, you'll never again be held hostage and need to wait on somebody to tell you where they think your guides should go. If you just want generic performance from those blanks, you can fall back on generic spacing charts. I believe there is one on the St. Croix website. .............. Re: Shikari blanks

Couldn't agree more with Tom. Do a static test to determine your guide placement. One rod and you'll never use a chart or someone else's recomendations again. Best of luck.
