Client requests Plum or Burgandy colored blank for MH bass jigging rod. Can anyone supply info on who might manufacture these colors?? Otherwise, I will have to recolor with pigments and Permagloss on the Rainshadow ISJ783 blank in matte clear which is perfect for this client's specs.
Thanks, TP Stephens Re: Who makes Plum or Burgandy colored blanks??

Check out CTS Blanks - Link is in sponsors column to the left. They offer more colors than anyone I've found so far! Re: Who makes Plum or Burgandy colored blanks??

Pacific Bay's Tradtition was in a deep rich plum color. they have since changed the lineup and it is now called the Tradition II, only available in matte grey. you can still find the original Tradition blanks in plum. schneiders has them on closeout listed as "Original IM6." others may too.

Check out Jann's Netcraft. They have them in their own brand IM6 I believe. Re: Who makes Plum or Burgandy colored blanks??

Thank you all. Andy, you have an e-mail from me with specs so you can identify the best CST option. I will give the client several more options now. So nice to have the incredible resource of knowledge available here for such nit-picking specifics. Re: Who makes Plum or Burgandy colored blanks??

Date: December 12, 2005 01:32PM Tim, The Lamiglas model that you would want is the XMG50. I've built fly rods on them and they're excellent but I don't have any personal experience with other blank varieties; I have no reason to beleive that you would be disappointed. Mudhole is among one of this board's sponsors that carry them. Re: Who makes Plum or Burgandy colored blanks??

The Lamiglas XMG 50 bass blanks are mat grey/black, only the fly blanks are burgundy. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
