I’m still looking for suggestions on several blanks to build this winter and thought I would add a little detail in what I’m looking for ..
Flipping & pitching rod 7’- 7 ½’ stiff / MF tip Worm rod 7’ graphite sensitive MH fast tip Spinner bait –crank bait rod 7’ med action- med tip [fiberglass maybe???] Price of the blank is a consideration but not the determining factor Thanks in advance for your time Ken Blevins Re: rod blanks???

Ken,
Andy Dear had a variety of fast tipped, single piece rod blanks that may meet your worm rod requirement. Discounted to a nice price as well. Jeff Shafer Re: rod blanks???

shikari shII fs764.
st. croix LE 5C70MF or loomis glx mb843. st. croix or loomis crankbait blanks (just depends on what you want to throw) if you want a glass blank, try the seeker bs706 s-glass blank. there are other blanks that will do the job, but these would be my first choices. good luck. Re: rod blanks???

I'm really fond of the St. Croix SCIII series. For that matter, I absolutely LOVE the SCV series, but I've only ever been able to afford 1. So, here's my thoughts on the SCIII series, but if you can upgrade to the SCV, do that.
3C70MHXF--Pitching 3C70MHF--Worm rod (I'd be tempted to use the 3C70MHXF for this too) 3C70MHM--Med. to large Cranks and SBs 3C70MM--Small to Med. Cranks and SBs Have fun. Re: rod blanks???

I like:
1. FS764 in a one piece. If it will work? 2. Look at Rogue's MBH704 or the MB704 if you want a faster tip. 3. One of my new favorites the St Croix 4S70MHM. From 3/8 up to 1 ounce this one will do it. Might be a little strained with a DD-22 but it will cast it. This blank could work for almost anything in its weight range even worms and jigs. Re: rod blanks???
