Perigee blank availability

Here is some news regarding the famous Lamiglas Perigee blanks...

1) They are not listed in Mudhole's 2006 printed catalog.

2) I e-mailed Lamiglas about the status of their Perigee line.

3) Their response was that only 9' blanks will be available; all others have been discontinued.

4) Are we in for another discontinuation of Perigee blanks sometime soon?

5) If so, tell Lamiglas that we want those great blanks to be available forever.

just speculation on my part of course, but perhaps they simply weren't selling well after "The Return." if that's the case, it would resonate louder if people told them how they felt about the blanks' availability with their wallets. or purses ;-) did lamiglas give a reason for the limited sizes available?

No, no reason given. Actually I think that only the 9' 3-pc blanks have been available for some time. Anyway, that's all that I use.

Very true, business decisions such as this are usually based on sales.

I hate the thought of those blanks going out of production. But, to be truthful, I'm not doing my part to convince Lamiglass otherwise. I've not bought any in awhile, mainly due to the stash I still have from the first discontinuation.

You're right, though. Those are great, great blanks.

Hey Guys,

actually it was only the 9', 3pc Perigee fly models that were brought back. These were the best sellers out of the whole series to begin with and have held their own since returning them.
Our 2006 catalog was just delivered to us and they are still there. I want to thank those of you that have supported the return of these blanks as I was very reluctant to put them back in.
For those of you that haven't tried one Tom has one as a door prize in Charlotte, in my opinion a great reason to be there......

Todd
