Jim,
Antti provided complete instructions for building a Birch Bark handle in an earlier post. Do a search or go back a page or 2. Raymond Adams Eventually, all things merge, and a river runs through it.. Re: Birch Bark Handle

Thank YOU Antti for taking the time to not only post the photo but also to explain exactly how you did it so
others could do it as well! You not only have a talent for craftsmanship but your instructions were clear and easy to understand as well dispite the language difference we share. I will be looking forward to more of your posts and photos!! Raymond Adams Eventually, all things merge, and a river runs through it.. Re: Birch Bark Handle

That was truly the most beautiful, most innovative and most thought provoking "new rodbuilding idea" that I'd seen in a long, long time.

That is definitely one of the most unique, and beautiful handles I have seen.
Where did you get the idea of using this material from? Re: Birch Bark Handle

Hey guys,
Thanks again :) Tony, the idea came from knife makers. Using birch bark in knife handles and other craft work is old finnish tradition. The method was there already, it only needed some modification and then I was ready to try it. Worked better than i thought........ Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
