Browse the sponsor list on the left, you'll find a ton of 'em.

That's a short 5-weight. What kind of water is it for? I'd like to know.
I once built a tiger-eye 4-piece 7' 0" 5-weight. Nice enough for the price. Yeah just browse the websites to the left. Then when you're done, call Dan Craft. He can probably hook you up. Josh Markvan www.markvanheirloom.com Re: right blank

Joe,
There won't be many options in that weight and length and action. As Josh suggests, the Tiger Eye will get you the first two criteria but not the action you asked for. St. Croix used to make the 2F705 fly blank but I think they discontinued it. It wouldn't be fast or extra fast though. I would consider a 7' 2pc. UL or L power spinning blank. You might have a better selection. I have the top 3 sections of a TFO 905-4 fly blank. Assembled, they have a total length of 6'9" and they CC at 5.94/67. That's the power you want, a pretty fast action but not extra fast, and almost the length you want but it's 3pc., not 2 like you want. You could extend the butt section 3" before building it and get the length. You can e-mail me if this option interests you. Maybe we can work out a deal on it (sell or trade). Joe,
Don't know what you want to spend on a blank but check out hexagraph rods, they make a real beauty of a 2 piece 7 ft 5 wt fast action blank. Re: right blank

A spinning rod rated to throw 1/4oz would probably have the action as well as power you are looking for. Scott Kinney The Longest Cast Fly Rods [www.thelongestcast.com] Re: right blank

Check out St Croix. They have a 2 pc 7' L and ML spin blank that should work Re: right blank
