I assume many of you may allready know what i am talking about. Sage Blanks have white dots to indicate the "Straightest Visual line" on the "STICK". My questions are: Is it the spine they mark? If so, Where to wrap the guides? That is on the same side of the dots or thexact opposite, the back? Just wrapping XP series, for lake fishing where long casting is the Big Issue! Thanks ! No they do not mark the spine. They dots are usually on the convex side of the natural curve. Most builders disregard them, locate the spine, and build either on or off the spine. If you build on the white dots you will most likely be building on the stiffest axis, which is not bad, but may not track as well on the cast as if you had built on or opposite the spine. ............ built on or opposite the spine!
