I would like to extend my thanks to Mr. Kirkman for providing an outstanding site. I recently returned from a tour in Iraq, stationed in Saddam's hometown of Tikrit. During this tour i was fortunate enough to actually have internet access and i must say that almost everyday after our missions i would sit down at my laptop and go to this website to help take a breather and unwind. Being an infantryman, it was nice to be able to get away from Iraq for a while and keep in touch with my ever addicting hobbie of rodbuilding. Now that i am back home i have already built a flyrod and am in the process of building three spinning rod's. Thanks to all for your support of the troops. Once again, thanks to Mr. Kirkman, the sponsers, and all the "regulars" who take the time to give advise and support to all rodbuilder's.

I'm sure we all appreciate John's service and sacrifice (as well as that of all others). Well done.

In that vein, those who want to voice their appreciation please do so by emailing him directly. Thanks.

Opps. Tom is correct. Your e-mail address is hidden, however. Stan
