How would you tie off the HT Braid? Some of it looks way cool and I might try it.

It's NOT suitable for guide wraps. It's wide and flat and It's used in decorative butt wraps. You use tie off overwraps like any butt wraps

I agree with Mike. You can't really "tie it off". You must wrap over it. It is quite easy to see under light color A thread wraps. Not so easy to see under dark, heavier thread wraps.

HT Braid looks great as an accent band (like a trim band) in the center of a wrap. To get a single wrap of the braid around the blank you have to glue it. The way I do it is to use a tooth pick to place a SMALL drop of super glue onto the blank. The end of the braid is then pressed into the super glue and held for a few seconds. Spin the rod once to wrap the braid around the blank. Put another small drop of super glue on the end of the braid where it is glued to the blank. Now overlap the braid onto itself. Press a razor blade tightly against the braid next to where the second drop of superglue was put. Pull the running end of the braid against the razor blade to cut it cleanly. The super glue will be enough to hold the braid in place while the rest of the wrap is finished. You will be able to see a 'bump' where the braid overlaps itself, but this becomes unnoticable once coated with epoxy.
