Has anyone had any experience with H&H's IM6 fly rod blanks? Re: hook & hackle rod blank

I have bought several and find them to be great. Buy them on the net and you save 20% too. Re: hook & hackle rod blank

I built a 6'6" 2 wt that's lighter than air. Although I bought the kit, I used a different reel seat than the Pac Bay one that came with it. I felt it was too large and cumbersome, even though it was very light.
First catch on it was a twenty inch rainbow. Extremely nice rod, can't beat it for the money. Re: hook & hackle rod blank

Stephen,
I have built many rods on these blanks. Most of the rods I fish with, I built with these blanks. For the price, and the service you get from Bob, you shouldnt pass them up. RB Re: hook & hackle rod blank

Stephen-
I highly recommend H&H blanks! I have built several rods. (2) 6Wt's, (1) 7Wt, (1)2Wt (same as what Dave Lester mentioned). These are well built, nimble, and affordable rod blanks. I agree with Dave on the 2Wt, it is a dream. It casts and feels more like a 2.9 Wt, but that isn't to say that this rod isn't the cat's meow. And with a 12" brook on it....WOW it was awesome. And, if you think that is great.....The service you get from Bob is the superb! Domenic Federico Infinity Rod Creations Wickliffe, Ohio Re: hook & hackle rod blank
