Hey guys,
Just wanted to let everyone know that the first shipment of CTS blanks has arrived. Folks, I can't begin to tell you what fantastic blanks these are...I mean just superb. The best thing I can compare them to in terms of feel, is a Loomis GLX......but nice and straight! They are SO very light in the hand, and extremely crisp. Now I am going to tell you this right now, these blanks are not for everyone, nor should they be. CTS is a boutique manufacturer specializing in VERY complex designs and layups. The workmanship is second to none, and the quality control very tight, and the price reflects that. SO if you're looking to build a "me too" rod for $35.00 bucks on a blank that came out of some sweatshop in the far east, this ain't your blank. However, if you enjoy building something unique and special, something that is worthy of the time and effort that I know a lot of you guys put into your rods, and you like using the best......this is your blank. As of right now, we are the ONLY Distributor in the United States bringing you the CTS product. I personally have worked very hard with Stephen Pratt of CTS to gain an intimite knowledge of the CTS product...it's design, materials, manufacture and variety of application. In addition we will be starting work on a proprietary line of Saltwater Fly, and Light Tackle Cast and Spin blanks manufactured for us specifically by CTS to my personal design specifications. Get ready folks...things are about to get real interesting. [www.lamarreelseats.com] Andy Dear Lamar Manf. 210-845-7456 www.lamarreelseats.com Re: CTS Blanks in Stock and ready to ship.

Yes...at the moment that is what we have in stock. The intital order was somewhat larger than that, but many of those blanks were pre-sold before the shipment even arrived.

Hey Andy. Are you going to have the color choices available? That was one of the best things about their blanks. Re: CTS Blanks in Stock and ready to ship.

Tom,
All of the blanks we stock will be in the matte graphite finish, because it is the most "neutral" pallette for you guys to do any color of threadwork. However, I'll be happy to special order any blank in any color that CTS offers. I have several in white...which is faboulous by the way, Also the metallic silver is really cool as well. It matches the hood on a Fuji Gunsmoke reelseat perfectly. Andy Dear Lamar Manf. Re: CTS Blanks in Stock and ready to ship.

Good On Ya Andy,
One of the most admirable things about Stephen Pratt of CTS is that he's willing to "Fullfill the Dream" of guys like Andy and myself who have always wanted to put together a series of design specific rod blanks. Without Stephen, I know for sure that I never could have done it....And he is so spot on with his taper engineering <> The blanks come out just perfect in all regards. I'm sure that all the blanks that Andy will introduce will be sweet. Bob Meiser Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
