Hello out there,
does anybody have an idea what is the weight difference between the titanium and S4-Steel framed Fuji guides? As I learned recently there is no difference in regard of the friction of a regular fishing line what would quit the argument for or against Alconite or Sic as a frame material. The story here is again about my 10'6 steelhead trigger rod, I' am thinking about the TLNSG and then followed by the TLSG guides if it wil come to titanium or the equivalent in S4/Alconite what would be the BLNAG followed by the BLAG. Planned setup will be Size 12 1x double foot guide Size 10 1x double foot guide Size 08 3x single foot Size 06 5x single foot Size 06 1x tip top If I would have access to both types here locally I would put the complete sets as acomparision on a fine weighting scale but I will buy by mail order again. Appreciate your comments. RGDS, Ole Re: Weight difference between Fuji Titanium and (S4) steel frame guides

I weighed them once and I think the Titanium frame models are about 30% lighter. They're both light so it won't be a huge difference you can feel but on a long rod like that getting even a little weight off the tip might be a real plus. If I could afford them, I'd put the Fuji Ti SICs on all my rods. Re: Weight difference between Fuji Titanium and (S4) steel frame guides

Ole,
With the number of guides in the sizes you list you might have a hard time spacing it correctly. With our factory 10'6" models we end up using the following guides to get the correct spacing. BLAG-6J 5 BLAG-7J 4 BLAG-8J 3 BUNAG-8 1 BLNAG-10J 1 BLNAG-12J 1 If I remember correctly when I spaced these it was the minimum I could get away with.
