My kingdom for Fuji RST series guides and tops

Does anyone know where I can order Fuji RST series guides and tops. These are heavy salt water guides. I have seen similar spin off brands but not the real thing. Thanks

Probably direct from Japan. THey are in the Fuji catalouge, just not imported. I do not even know if these are made in Japan, they might need an order of 10,000 per size to make them.

Do you know if I have to go through Fuji itself or do I have to contact a retailer and special order them. Thank you Billy

Are you perhaps talking about the RSG straddle leg guides? I just don't keep up with the model numbers like I used to.

Both Merrick and Anglers Workshop had some RSG guides left as of a couple years back. You could also put your request up on the buy/sell page where it will stay around longer and might net some results from another builder who just might have a few lying around.

RST is the coordinating tip for the RSG series guides which I didnt know, I managed to locate the tips (Mudhole or DONART) but I thought this series was a stronger version of the LRSG and not a whole new concept like the straddle leg guides, they look similar but I guess theres some advantage to the straddle leg set up. Not too sure. Will look into. Jason

Here they are in the Fuji Japan catalouge. You gotta search around and find a contact in Japan if they are unavailable from teh above suppliers which Tom mentioned. Search teh board and you'l see a couple of places where you can get Japanese Fuji components

You would not want to use the straddle leg design on highly flexible blanks or those with fast actions. I can't imagine using them on anything less than a 30lb outfit and 50+ is more the norm.

The LRSG is a top hinge design with short feet. It was designed specifically for fast action stand-up type rods.
