I know the heights roughly on all of the Fuji Concept high frame guides exept the 30mm and the 20mm. Does anyone have this info available? Thanks. Re: Anyone have the exact heights on Fuji Concept 30mm & 20mm guides?

Thanks Ed it's my mistake. I meant to say overall height from where the underside of the guide foot that sits on the blank to the very top of the frame. Thanks. Re: Anyone have the exact heights on Fuji Concept 30mm & 20mm guides?

A database of guide heights would be very useful to all. If you guys will post the measurements that you have of any guides, I will be glad to compile them.
For conformities sake, the guide measurements should be in millimeters from bottom of foot to bottom of ring frame and from bottom of foot to top of ring frame. If you have weights, that would help also. Mike Barkley mbarkley@wowway.com Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 10/26/2005 01:45PM by Mike Barkley. First, here's an answer the original question. "Lower" equals the height of the bottom edge of the frame above the rod, "upper" equals the height of the upper edge of the frame above the rod. This assumes the guide is sitting on the rod at its original angle. (Note that these heights can be adjusted by bending the guide).
30mm: lower = 32 mm, upper = 56 mm. 20mm: lower = 25 mm, upper = 40 mm In response to Mike, here's the complete set of concept guides ("Y guides; i.e., TYSG, YSG). Guide size--Lower/Upper (in mm) 8--9/14 10--11/19 12--15/24 16--21/32 20--25/40 25--29/47 30--32/56 Here are the V-style single-foot guides (i.e., SVSG, LVSG): 8--6/12 10--7/15 12--11/19 16--12/21 20--16/29 25--21/37 30--22/45 Fly-style guides, TLSG, LSG: 6--2/6 7--3/8 You can really see how much higher the concept Y-style guides are compared to the 'normal' single-foot V-style guides. For example, a Y-16 is as high as a V-25. I also have weights for many of these guides for the alconite, stainless-frame SiC, and Ti-frame SiC styles. tom Re: Anyone have the exact heights on Fuji Concept 30mm & 20mm guides?

I posted a similar question a month or two ago. I am amazed that this information is not readily available. I contacted a number of manufactures and was told the info is not available from them. One of the retailers offered to make the measurements for me. I didn't take him up on his offer I simply made all the measurements on my own.
Good Luck Re: Anyone have the exact heights on Fuji Concept 30mm & 20mm guides?

I just don't understand why the manufacturer's would not share this info. It's not proprietary and wouldn't hurt their sales (it may even help their sales) I really think that such a database would be helpful to any builder. I would appreeciate any info that you guys are willing to send me so that I can compile it and make available to anyone that wants it.
