blank suggestions

A friend has asked me to make up an 8kg light game/trolling rod for small tuna, GT's, Mack's etc. 6 or 7 foot in length for his brand new Penn Inter 16.
After a bit of a search I'm thinking that Calstar 196, GF 700m or Seeker 706 would be the most suitable blank, am I on the right track?
I would greatly appreciate any comments on the suitability of these blanks or some alternatives?
Thanks for your comments.
Tim

The Seeker 706 is one I have a lot of experience with. What type action are you looking for? The CLB706 is a very stout blank but with a fairly soft and light tip. Most of the initial flex is in the upper 15 inches of the blank. It's quite fast and makes a tremendous live bait rod. This may or may not be ideal for the type trolling your friend plans on doing.
