I have my first bamboo Rod to restore and oit is in pretty bad shape. In doing searches I saw Michael Sinclair's "Bamboo Rod restoration" book that many of you thought was the best guide. But a quick hunt for one leaves me out. I can find it but for $180..00 and up.
What is the next best source for info. Thanks Re: Bamboo Rod Restotation

Sometimes you can get lucky and find one on @#$%& for a reasonable price.
I restore some of these rods and would be happy to answer questions if that will help. Joe Douglas Re: Bamboo Rod Restotation

Like Joe - I am enthralled with cane rod restoration. Try this link http//www.vfish.net select Angler's Collectable Exchange and look under "books" . They sell a lot of Sinclair books (new/used // hard and soft bound). They will also back order for you
