I am about to build myself a 6wt TCR and would appreciate some advice on guide sizes using single leg SIC guides

Thanks

My favorite setup for 6wt's is one #12 double foot, one #10 single foot and then #6's rest to the tip. Hope this helps.

Personally I'd use a #16, #12 double foot, and then a #8 sf followed by #7's or #6's to the tip.

The #12 stripper on a 5wt TCR I built last month just looked funny with the large diameter of the blank...

Hey Allan;

Would be great if You could post a picture of the finished TCR when you´re done, to show your work to all of us. I am personally still plannig to build one myself, actually have been planning for the last four months.

Hope You build a great rod!
