Pactra no longer

Went hunting for Pactra. Told it's not made any more. Bought out.

Bought Testors instead. Got home, reread all the posts. Then read them again.
Poured off the carrier, got pigment, in one bottle of blue. The other bottle of red, I can not see the line seperateing the two. Did not open it yet. Could it still be mixed well?

The color selection, not real good. But, the other brands also made by testors, enamel also, bigger selection.
Since we are pouring off the carrier, only useing the pigment, would they work as well?

Ordered a fresh bottle of permagloss. My other bottle had set up solid.Only six years old. They don't make to last anymore.(smile)

Last question. Please give me a clue as to how much pigment to add to say 1/4 oz. of permagloss.

Tom, a article in Rod Maker on painting. Please.

Have you tried to order Pactra from testors.com? It's still listed on their website. Also, I've used the Tamiya brand of spray lacquer w/ permagloss w/ good results, as long as I let it dry for a couple of days and wipe on quick, thin coats of PG.
