Wow... these health-related threads really seem to go on and on (before degrading into small talk) :-).
I thought I'd share one great resource that anyone should find useful... NIOSH International Chemical Safety Cards [www.cdc.gov] This is a great resource for a summary of the hazardous properties of a large number of chemicals. I would call them Cliff Notes... but for some reason that might seem to have the exact opposite meaning on this board (LOL). These cards are, in fact, short and sweet and to the point and from a trustworthy and authoritative source. They don't tell you everything there is to know, but are one of the resources I routinely use when evaluting the nature of chemicals during my day job. NIOSH is an arm of the CDC... the occupational health research arm of the government... cousin to OSHA (regulatory enforcement arm). Cheers...
