Does anynone have any experience using these threads? They Have the Candleight Series and the Fine Metallics Series. The Candlelight seried is interesting as it is a heavier guage ("C?") thread.
Search engine gave no specific hints for these threads specifically that I could find. Plan to use them for decorative wraps only. Derek Derek L. McMaster Rohnert Park, CA Born to Fish, FORCED to Work Re: YLI Metallic Tread

I know Bill Stevens uses these a lot; possibly Lance Dupre also? Maybe email one of them or both, Derek. I have a couple of spools of these, but haven't used them yet. Just picked them up recently. Both of the ones that I have remind me of the Gudebrod Trimar threads. Putter Williston, ND Re: YLI Metallic Tread

I have used the YLI Reflections threads on the recommendation of Ken Preston. They have a bit of stretch to them and were thin, but came out looking fairly nice.

I use the Metallics (same as Fishhawk). Similar to Sulky & Superior, slightly thicker. Comparing thickness between metallics, imo (never mearued, just based on my eyeballs) - Madeira 50 wt (7/2), Madiera 40wt, 5/2, then a tie between Madeira 4/2 and Sulky , then Superios and Fishhawk YLI, finally Gudebrod HT metallic is teh thickest in the Size A range.
I can be wrong about that, I havent' measured any of these threads. I have used them all and like them al except for the Gudebrod...all tehery treads have the same propertie, they are strng, stretchy, tehy do not unravel....and Madiera is coated with some sort of Silcone where none of the others are.
