What color thread?

I'm going to be ordering another blank and I'm trying to decide what color threads to use. The blank is described as a dark redish brown (plum). I will do two colors but I'm having difficulty deciding which two colors. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Joe

Trust your own judgement and use whatever looks good to you. You know what you like!

Joe;
Everybody has their favorites.
Nobody else is you.
A custom rod is an extension of "you". Unless you are building it for me - my colors wouldn't do 'you' any good.
When you get your blank - set it on your workbench, look closely at your thread color chart - now look at the stick and close your eyes ---
listen to what the blank wants for its trimmings, and what your head tells " you " those trimmings colors should be.

I would go with Peach and Spring green.

Have a play with this:
[www.tightwraps.com]
It's an online thread colour-combo tester.

Putter might say: " Let's see there is purple with gold trim and gold with purple trim".
I personally like garnet and most any trim on that blank color.
