can this tiptop be found in sizes below 7mm?

It doesn`t seem to be. Checked out the importer (Anglers Rsrc/Fuji) on the left and couldn`t find it in any other sizes than 7mm. You find them under Products/Original/Silicon Carbide Tip Tops.

NOBODY else has Titanium Tip Tops. Fuji is the only one to come up with teh technology to be able to wed & bend the Ti without breaking it. Re: Fuji TLST

If you need a smaller ring in your tip-top, consider wrapping on a single foot guide at that point. Works just as well as a regular tip-top.

Lots of guys have been doing this for some time. The only drawback is that the little bit of tip that protrudes may look a bit odd (almost like somebody broke the rod off at a regular guide). You can cover this with a trim wrap, or epoxy a colored map pin into the blank tip opening just to finish off the very end, although it's down and behind the ring so I really don't find it that bad.
