I am thinking about triing some madeira mettallic thread and was wondering if it is made the same way as the rest of metallic threads I have used,or is the metallic look accomplished by some other process than a thread with an inner core.Any info is greatly appreciated.Thanks.

The Madeira and Sulky metallics are an embroidery thread that is designed to take th abuse of high speed sewing. The foil is smaller and much better incorporated into the thread matrix that I have alot less problems with it. The Rice metallic that FishSicks4U sent free with my last order to try looks like an excellent product also but I haven't used it alot yet.

The Madeira Supertwists are different than any other metallic I've tried in that it's two threads wrapped around each other.
