Does any one know when the newly available GLX blanks will be available for purchase ? How does this blank/material compare with St. Croix SCV at half the price ?

All opinions welcomed !

I think you will find the material similar, the blank will be the most tested and closest to perfect each time it is produced in the industry. It is a very good blank at twice the price, not the other way around. The only question is the kind of blank you are looking for and the action. Don

They are supposed to be available around the first of the year. They should have some on hand for you to see and feel at the National Rod Builders Show next February, although they'll be available for sale before then.

We have been told by the folks at G*Loomis, that the GLX blanks and the other new models will be out around the first of October. I hope that this holds true, as we have orders already submitted and have customers that have already placed orders with us, so they will receive some of the very first new models. Don Eurillo, we have the open order that you placed with us and you should be one of the first out with the new models. We have just received a good supply of the new G*Loomis blank catalogs and will be mailing those out to folks that have already requested one or any of you that would like to have one mailed to you, just shoot us an e-mail message, with your address. We are gladly accepting orders for the new models now.
