blank paint

What type of white or light color paint should be used on the blank so that a light color thread wrap won't darken or bleed. I plan to put two coats of color preserver on the thread. Will white out work? Other thoughts?!? Thanks Steve

Whit out may work but test it on a scrap piece first to make sure that the finish doesn't affect it. I have used Testor's and have even masked off the area and used spray paint.

If you do go with a white spray paint, that inexpensive Wal~Mart stuff dries really quick and covers good, too. I like working with their spray paints because they dry so fast and I have to really try hard to get it to run, too.
