Has anyone taken all the thread colors and made a chart , so to speak , of each thread color with epoxy: one with CP to show the true color , and one along side it without CP to show the darker NCP color?.........guess background color would play in the mix as well...hummm?

I've seen this for all Nylon & NCP colors on a scrap blank in a tackle shop. Make one up yourself - there's no need for a chart for someothng you can do on your own. Re: Color preserver/no CP color chart?

Billy,
I can surely make one, but I didn't really want to make 3, each having a differing background color (light, med, dark) I merely wondered if someone had did all that homework and maybe saved it, seems valueable to me.......... DR Re: Color preserver/no CP color chart?

But what good would it do you, if you weren't able to see it in person? IT would be no better than looking a tthe threads in pictures in a magazine or on a website. I've got a couple of test sticks over Blue & Purple & Gold metallic - all the Gudebrod colors. Took me a long time to make it,a dn it was done on a small blank, and I didn't make the bands long enough so it didn't come out nearly good enough.
What I do now, if I care enough to mix & match colors - is just wrap the colors I think I want on the foregrip area of the blank, and finish with 5-minute epoxy thnned with Acetone & carefully heated so it penetrates & I know EXACTLY what the colors will look like.
