Gonna be working one of these up for stripers. Mainly trolling but some jig casting. Going to be a spinning rig. Customer wants Titans. I'm not familiar with these blanks and I don't want to break the piggy bank to order a bunch of extra Titans that may never get used, but more importantly, it's gonna be a race with the devil to get this thing done in time (gonna be an anniversary gift) so making follow on orders isn't much of an option.
Can any of you who have done these animals offer a suggestion for a good guide selection to get ordered? I don't mind a few onsies, twosies left over, just not an extra dozen. Many thanks Re: Seeker 704 guide sizes

Mike; You can use a set of Pac Bay's hialoy guides to find out just what you need and keep them on hand just for that purpose. Then order the others. If you don't have that much time I usually use a 20 stripper located on the ferrule (of the two piece blanks) then a 12 ,10, 8, and four or five 6's to a 6 tip top. Edited 2 time(s). Thanks much Jim,
That's the problem. I don't have the blank in front of me to use guides that I have laying around. This is a good starting point. Thank you again. Re: Seeker 704 guide sizes

Seems like a 20 for the stripper might be a little small for a spinning setup. I would think he might be running 20 lb. test on a fair sized spinnig reel for stripers. I'd probably go with at least a 30 for the stripper and then use a concept setup if the reel allows. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
