I would think that if a seller of mini lathes were to get a booth at Charlotte they could do pretty well for themselves, what with Andy Dears demo and all. I know I would be very interested, as I just ruined a handle trying to turn it on a Clemens lathe. By the time Charlotte rolls around I can probably save enough nickels and dimes to buy one, or who knows maybe win on in the big raffle.

Anyone have a pic or site for these "mini" lathes? Re: Mini lathe at Charlotte

You could try Amazon. I think they have the Jet mini lathe for $249 with free shipping. I have one and its an excellent little lathe. I'll warn you tho-wood turning can be another addicting hobby. I love it.
