will permagloss work on the krylon fusion paint?
what size sponge are you using and how big a hole are you cutting in the sponge ? have been using the spar urathane but the last rod i used it on i put a weave on it and when i took the tape off it peeled the spar off with it. ( dont know what caused this ) so i figure i will give the permagloss a try . thanks for all and any input david williams Re: another permagloss question

If you do a search on this paint you will find that it takes 7 days for it to dry. One guy said it chipped very easy ? Permagloss may eat into it ? Try it after about a week.
I would suggest Duplicolor or Plasti-kote auto laquers. Re: another permagloss question

I've never used a sponge to apply Permagloss. You can try it but I tend to think it won't work very well.
Permagloss has a "hot" solvent in it so it may blister or bubble some paints or finishes when applied over the top. If I want to recolor a blank, I tint the Permagloss and do it all in one step. Wish I could be of more help but I've never applied Permagloss over the top of another product. Perhaps someone else can advise you on this. ............ Re: another permagloss question

What I still wonder about -- is all the questions about permagloss being so HOT, why can's it be COOLED off ?? I have been using an auto two part clear, that does not have all the problems Re: another permagloss question

David,
By sponge, you might be thinking of the method that Tom uses. A foam paint brush with either a tiny hole punched through it or a slit cut in it. It is dipped into Permagloss and the blank is passed through the hole or slit (or the brush is pulled down the blank) Mike Re: another permagloss question
