Forum Advice, thanks

About two months ago I asked for help in setting up a freshwater rod for a client who wanted a rod for live bait "just like Al Linder's outfit". Thanks to the advice from board members I have another satisfied customer, thank you all.

Now, need more help but not quite as tough as the first one. I'm building my first standup or maybe sit down, tuna rod with an AFTCO Uni-butt. The blank is 48" long and with the foregrip will have a length of 32" for guide placement. The client has supplied all the material including the roller tip top and five (5) AFTCO roller guides.

My question is: what should the guide spacing be?

Thanks in advance.

You're going to have to flex it and static test it. That's the only way to tell.
