Can I use the Rod Bond on the foam trim ring in the cork handle?

That's how I've been doing mine, Tom. I think I've done about 8 or 9 this way (including one Friday night). Just do it the same way, put it on, then scrape as much of it off as possible. I use a single edged razor blade to put it on with and scrape it off. I do put the foam up on another piece of cork to give it some firmness-the foam is just to flexible and it's hard to do it without having something stiffer behind it.

Also, I use a fired rifle brass to center punch the foam. Works great; couldn't find a .25-06, so I've been using a .270 brass.

I bought some brass tubing in sizes that slip inside or over the next nearest size at a hardware store in the hobby section. They come in about 7 to 9 inch lengths, I think. Good for making all sizes of holes in trim work.

Or if you go to your local gun shop the gun shop owner should be able to get you different sized casings. Interesting thought there.
