MF - Aftco makes premium roller guides, but I don't know
if they make roller guides for Spiral ("Acid") Wrapped Rods.

SEARCH = "ROLLER GUIDES SPIRAL" [Message Bodies; Subject. 90 days]

9. Re: First 30-50# Rod Project Steve Purcell 06/16/05
[www.rodbuilding.org] "I am no expert but I am in the middle of building a stack of Seeker/Calstar rods. Just finished a 40-80lb Seeker with @#$%& spiral roller guides. Laying out a Calstar 765XL for underwrap right now."

8. Re: SPIRAL FOR WIRE LINE? John (Mantele?) 06/21/05 01:16AM
[www.rodbuilding.org] "To avoid tip or wire damage, you would be wise to use a @#$%& Spiral Roller Tip, which is available from [shop.mudhole.com] or from All American Guides at [www.allamericanrollerguides.com] "

Spiral Roller Guides: @#$%& "ACID ROLLER GUIDES" (TM),
invented by JOHN MANTELE, manufactured by ALL AMERICAN TACKLE

Authors to follow for Spiral Wrapped Rods / Acid Rollers:
John Mantele; Capt Neil Faulkner; Jay Lancaster, to name just a few.

MF - The second mouse may get the cheese bits,
but the third mouse learned where the cheese wheel is kept !

Learn to use the RBO SEARCH function, and how to choose the most selective search terms, and you will get a GOLD MINE of information that you didn't even know existed.

Learn to discover the authors who are hot on a particular subject, and you will have access to the mind of the experts, and the builders who are working on the same issues as you. All this at no cost to the Viewer. All here at RBO. Like free tuition to on-line seminars at a professional CE-training program. At the convenience of your leisure. In the privacy of your own home or shop. It doesn't get any better than this.

From the 4th mouse. (A 4th-level mouse teaches others. A 5th builds many fine rods. A 6th is in an inner circle. And a 7th runs one of the castles. An 8th owns it. And the 9th rules the world.) Fortunately, fish can be happily caught by all.

Subject: 259# YFT on SPIRAL WRAPPED / @#$%& ACID ROLLER ROD

259 Lb Yellowfin on a Spiral Wrapped Rod ... Poster: John Mantele
[www.rodbuilding.org] This Picture was posted to show that Spiral Wrapping also applies to Giant Fish.

"This is most likely the biggest fish ever caught on a Spiral Wrapped Roller Rod. It was caught by Dick Meirowitz of Blue Point, NY in Dec. 2004 while fishing the Hurricane Banks off the coast of Mexico, aboard the Boat EXCEL out of San Diego. The rod was custom built by Capt. Neil Faulkner of Sayville, NY using a Seeker CTSF 55 XXXH, 80-130#, blank and @#$%& Spiral/Acid Roller Guides, all of which were supplied gratis by All American Roller Guides. This Yellowfin Tuna which weighed 259 Lbs. and won 3rd place Jackpot, was landed in approximately 15 minutes. Dick attributed the speed and ease of landing this fish, to the use of the Spiral wrapped rod and it lack of twisting under extremely heavy loading." -John "@#$%&" Mantele, inventor of the @#$%& Acid Roller Guides by All American Tackle.
