fly blank suggestions

I'm looking for a 4 pc 7wt blank for bass. I'm currently using a Loomis IMX 2pc and like it, but I don't think that the IMX comes in a 4pc. Any suggestions for a mod/fast to fast 4pc blank? What about Dan Craft blanks? I'm not at all familiar with these blanks. Any input is welcome. Thanks, E...

Plenty to choose from. The St. Croix SCIV are great. Used to come in 3 pieces, I think they have a 4 piece model now. They're among my very favorites. Dan Craft's blanks get nothing but great reviews. I have a 9' 4 piece 5-weight from Dan that is a super nice blank. No complaints on my end.

Might look at the Hook & Hackle HX 907 4 B, Lamiglas EF 1087, Rainshadow RX7+ 907-4, and the FT 5 wt blanks for a true 7 wt in that series. Dan has some of the Sig III 5 piece 7 wts at 20% off last I talked to him.

Eddie: great suggestions above--if you do go with Dan's FT series I'd suggest the 5wt as well...trust me its got enough reserve power for the strongest bass out there. Also, his Sig III 5pc-ers are 35% off, and I believe he still does have 7wts left. The Rainshadow RX7 (not the plus) is also a very decent bass stick IMO, and offered at a great price.
