Tom Kirkman??Buffing wood

Tom,in one of your replies to a post you mentioned using "No Scratch Pink" for buffing wood.Can you tell me where i could get some of this.What compounds do you use prior to this?Is tripoli too course,or for metal only?Thanks.By the way any one else that has any tips on buffing wood please feel free to reply.

The more you sand and the smoother the wood is to begin with, the better. I buff many of the oily exotic woods such as Rosewood, Cocobolo, Kingwood, Ebony, etc. They take a mirror shine that holds up pretty darn well. I usualy start with "matchless white" on a sewn wheel, followed by "white diamond" on a loose wheel. That's followed by "no-scratch pink" on a loose wheel. Then, some white HUT PPP wax on a loose wheel. You can get all the compounds from K&G Knife Supply in Arizona.
