Hello;
To all fellow builders with suggestions to a problem I've currently experienced with finish coat application , the blank(s) in question are Lamiglas SB series Surf models Honey,White,or black all smooth finish blanks , when I apply finish to edge of thread wraps it wants to crawl back up on the wrap exposing a bare blank. I have contacted Lamiglas about this problem suggested solutions were to posistion rod with guides 90 degrees , and apply finish to guide foot area first then rotate & complete application.

This worked to some extent still had some areas with skips , whats really baffling is the fact the BSB or spiral finish blanks turn out perfect.
Also I have this occur with or without sealer NCP & regular threads, have tried 7 brands of coat , the best being clear coat from Amtak.
