drum type dryer

Do any of you use a drum type dryer? I mean one where the rod revolves in a circle not on it's axis. They are usually built to hold several pieces at one time. When wood handles are used they can be finished right on the rod and dried on this type dryer. Do they work as well as the regular type dryer? I have not seen any of this type for sale.

I use one several years ago when helping out the Harringtons. It worked just fine. It held maybe a dozen rods. actually pretty neat and didnt take up much space.

Roger,

look on the photo page. Tom Kirkman posted photos of the unit he built for his shop. If you do a search of the forum, i believe this issue has been talked about before. Hope this helps.
