Can't wait

Received my new Forbes in the mail today from Overstock. It is completly amazing how light this thing is, even when it was still in the box I noticed it weights almost nothing.

Granted the line will add a bit off weight, but wow. Can't weight for my Dan Craft 1wt to get here. I was worried it may be a bit heavier than what I'm looking for, but if it balances with this reel, its gotta be pretty darned light. I found out recently I'll be heading over to Qatar in the Middle East (again) which will seriously put a damper on my rod-building for awhile (again.)

Not the worst place to be, hopefully everything will be in order and I'll finish the rod before I leave.

I may not be posting much while I'm there since I won't be able to build, but I'll definitely be reading daily for updates and will have some more questions before I leave I'm sure.

Phil: I have a couple of friends that are over in Bosnia, I'll tell you the same I tell them, Jokingly, but also seriously, "Keep your head down!". Be careful over there, and come back to the rod building.
