exotic burl cork

Hi guys
Is any one having any problems when turning and shaping the exotic burl rings ? Is it holding together well Re: exotic burl cork

I haven't had any problems turning it but I had the dark color as an end piece and when I bored it out it split on me. Other than that it turns well. Re: exotic burl cork

It's a highly durable material, much more so that regular cork. I've yet to have any come apart (not saying it couldn't happen) and I've even done some on a Vega duplicator which is pretty hard on the material being turned.
