I saw a post here in the last week describing what to use to mark the diamond cross on a blank.
It was a water color pencil or something similar. I have searched for the post and cannot find. Can any one lead me to the post? Larry Tysinger Re: Marking diamond cross

Take some NCP white thread. Cut in pieces - lay out and tape ends on board - mark centers on thread with black ink. Make tape wraparound on blank on both ends of wrap. Use reflected light beam down blank and line up thread pieces on desired axis. Make one or two passes with marked thread - line up and adjust crossings - cut and remove white thread. Thanks to TK for this one - saves me a bunch of time.

Larry - I do not know the thread you are referring to, but I use a Pentel White Out pen. Re: Marking diamond cross

Larry,
Try a white china marker. I have also used a "gold" fine tip sharpie on dark and light blanks. You can use a pencil eraser or the handle of most needle nose pliers to remove any unwanted or uncovered sharpie marks but a china marker is best.
